David Aguilar - Pro Profile

Few people know, and even fewer pursue their passion from a young age, and David Aguilar is one of them. A travel & landscape photographer based in Seville, Spain, David began travelling to distant countries since he turned 18 in a bid to satiate his wanderlust. But travelling wasn’t enough; to show the rest of the world the beauty of the places he saw, and to make them feel the emotions he felt, David picked up a Nikon camera and began to freeze the beauty of ethereal moments forever. His pictures and videos of the surreal landscape of our planet have won him various awards, including the Vamos/Latam III contest and the "Drone Video of the Year” at AirVuz. To fan the flames for the passion of travelling, we spoke to him his journey of traversing the world. Excerpts:

Travel Takes - Mahendra Bakle

An ever rising talent among the ranks of the best photographers in India, Mahendra Bakle has been carving his own niche in the industry. His dreamy pictures of the landscapes, culture and lifestyle of various places, especially Southeast Asian countries, have the sublime quality of transporting the viewer right into the picture. The time he had to wait to begin pursuing his passion and the hurdles he faced on his travels didn’t stop him from capturing the magnificence of the world the way he sees it. Shooting Snowscapes

The cold wind nipping at your cheeks. The crunching sound of the fresh snow under your feet. And a world of fairytale white in front of your eyes… 
Now before you get carried away and go running to Leh-Ladakh or the Alps with your camera, put on your brakes! Capturing snowscapes isn’t as easy as you think; there’s a lot that goes into it before you get that mind blowing picture of snowy perfection.
But at the end of the day, it’s worth it. After all, wouldn’t you too want to travel to mighty Himalayas, capture its magnificence and show it to the world? Or travel to Iceland and witness the magnetic beauty of the Northern Lights? Or you can traverse across the borders to Harbin, a city in China where during the International Ice & Snow Festival, a city made from ice is built every year. Maybe, you can even visit Rovaniemi in Finland and get a chance to click pictures of a real-life Santa with his reindeer sleigh!
When it comes to ice and snow, there are a lot of places to visit; some are closer to home in India while others lie across the sea. However, there’s one thing that can’t be disputed, it’s the white wonders that snowscapes hold.
