Samsung Launches Galaxy S22 Series in India

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22+, and S22 smartphones have landed in India. This year, Samsung chose to launch the top S Series phone in India using a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU rather than an Exynos chipset. In India, the new Samsung Galaxy S22 series starts at Rs 72,999. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the highest-end edition of the S22 series and, without a doubt, the most powerful Samsung smartphone in 2022. What’s intriguing is that, despite our expectations that Samsung will discontinue the Galaxy Note series entirely, Samsung has, in a manner, morphed the Galaxy S22 Ultra into the most recent Galaxy Note handset. Of course, the Galaxy Note branding is absent, but the S-Pen pen slot can now be seen on the S22 Ultra phone itself. It should be noted that the S22 and S22+ do not support the S-Pen pen.

The 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The gadget offers a touch sampling rate of 240Hz for gaming. Other display options include Vision Booster and Eye Comfort Shield. The display also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole selfie camera with a 40MP resolution and an aperture of F2.2. The gadget has dimensions of 77.9 x 163.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 229g. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor powers the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The phone has an Android 12-based One UI 4.1 interface and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone will be available in storage and RAM configurations of 8GB RAM, 12GB RAM, as well as storage choices of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. As previously stated, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra supports the S-Pen pen, and Samsung says that the S-Pen has reduced latency.

When it comes to cameras, the smartphone has a quad-camera arrangement with 12MP Ultra-Wide, F2.2 + 108 MP Wide, F1.8 + 10MP Telephoto, 3x Optical Zoom, F2.4 + 10MP Telephoto, 10x Optical Zoom, and F4.9. With AI Super Resolution technology, the gadget provides 100X Space Zoom, including 10x Optical Zoom and 10x Digital Zoom. The S22 Ultra is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports wired and wireless charging speeds of up to 45W and 15W, respectively. Wireless PowerShare reverse charging is also available. In terms of connection, the gadget supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi Direct Bluetooth v 5.2. There is also IP68 dust and water resistance. The Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 have comparable features, however the key variations are in the display, camera, and battery. The Galaxy S22+ features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz in Game Mode. The Galaxy S22, on the other hand, has a 6.1-inch FHD+ display. Other display aspects are comparable.

Both devices use the same triple cameras: a 12MP Ultra-Wide, F2.2 + 50MP Wide Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8 + 10MP Telephoto, 3x Optical Zoom, OIS, F2.4. A 10MP selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture is located on the front. The CPU stays the same, and the gadget is available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Both devices use the One UI 4.1 interface, which is based on Android 12. The S22+ includes a 4,500mAh battery with wired charging rates of up to 45W and wireless charging speeds of up to 15W. The S22, on the other hand, is powered by a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Other characteristics are comparable to those found on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
