Canon India has announced the debut of the Cinema Excellence Suite, a one-of-a-kind platform for showcasing the company’s comprehensive range of cinema imaging technologies to the film industry. Over the course of three months, this adaptable engagement will assist to demonstrate the EOS R System Mirrorless cameras and Cinema EOS camera’s whole production and post-production workflow experience directly to cinematographers, DOPs, directors, and production companies in Mumbai.
The Cinema Excellence Suite is Canon’s latest venture in accordance with their video first approach for the camera business. It is an industry – first project for the cinema market. The suite, designed in a transportable configuration to allow mobility, will include Canon’s Cinema EOS series and RF System cameras and lenses, as well as a display of Atomos and Sennheiser accessories. There will be a shooting zone as well as a full-fledged post-production set-up to familiarise the audience with the complete production cycle to make the suite more immersive.
The Suite will be outfitted with the most recent EOS R System Mirrorless cameras, including the EOS R3, EOS R5, EOS R6, and EOS R, as well as sophisticated RF lenses and EOS Cinema Cameras, including the EOS C500MKII, EOS C300 MKIII, EOS C70, and the newest EOS R5C. DOPs may also try out Canon’s renowned Sumire Prime and EF Cine lenses.
The Cinema Excellence Suite will begin its tour in Film City and will travel from point to point on a predetermined timetable, with visits at notable production companies, film studios, and significant institutions with concentrated curriculums on filmmaking.
